Dilly was crocheted with Size H hook and worsted weight yarn, and stands approximately 6” high. I used 72 yards of the main color and 5 yards of the contrasting color. I used Red Heart Super Saver but any worsted weight (medium, “4” on the label) would work. Gauge isn’t crucial to this project.

This is an easy pattern that uses the following stitches:
chain
slip stitch
single crochet
half double crochet (explained in the pattern)
double crochet
single crochet 2 together

The pattern totals 5 pages of detailed instructions which include photos of the different steps where needed. All instructional photos are placed at the end of the file so you may choose not to print them, if desired.
