Dilué is an asymetric, semi-circular shawl worked with a succession of garter stitch and easy to memorize lace sections, worked in short rows to get this offset effect that plays with the gradient in both ways (from lighter to darker and from darker to lighter) for a bit of magic!
The gradient is worked over 2 skeins, to make this shawl, we will use the lighter end of the first skein and alternate with the darker end of the second skein.

Size:
Approx 180 cm-71’’ in length/ 68 cm-27’’ in depth after blocking.

Gauge:
18 stitches and 30 rows = 10 cm/4’’
in garter stitch, lace blocked.
Gauge is not critical for this shawl, but please note any change will affect the final size and yarn requirements!

Yarn & Notions:

• 2 skeins of Palmier Fingering from Squirrel’s Yarns (baby camel 50%, silk 50% - 400 m-430 yds / 100 g) in a continous gradient (gradient is worked on 2 skeins), colorway Lapis Lazuli - or approx. 700 m-765 yds of any fingering yarn to get gauge.
• Circular needles to meet gauge (suggested size: 3.5 mm/US#4)

Dilué est un châle semi-circulaire asymétrique formé par une alternance de section de point mousse et de dentelle en rangs raccourcis lui permettant d’obtenir cet aspect décentré, qui met en valeur le gradient travaillé dans les 2 sens (du plus clair au plus foncé et du plus foncé au plus clair), révélant toute sa magie !
Le gradient est réparti sur 2 écheveaux, pour réaliser ce châle, nous allons utiliser l’extrémité la plus claire du 1er écheveau, en alternance avec l’extrémité la plus foncée du 2ème écheveau.

Environ 180 cm de longueur/ 68 cm de profondeur après blocage aux mesures maximales.

Echantillon :

pour 10 x 10 cm de point mousse bloqué «dentelle»
L’échantillon n’est pas essentiel pour ce châle, cependant notez bien que toute modification affectera la taille finale et la quantité nécessaire de fil !

Fournitures & Matériel :

• 2 écheveaux de Palmier Fingering de Squirrel’s Yarns (50% bébé chameau, 50% soie - 400 m / 100 g) en gradient continu (le gradient est réparti sur les 2 écheveaux), dans le coloris Lapis Lazuli - ou approximativement 700 m de fil de type «Fingering» permettant d’obtenir l’échantillon.
• Aiguilles circulaires nécessaires pour obtenir l’échantillon (taille suggérée : 3,5 mm)
