This hat was designed with the idea that it would work for both solid and multi colored yarns -- a little stitch pattern that you don’t need to see, but something that would add a bit of interest to knitting with hand painted and variegated yarns without having to knit plain stockinette. In solid yarns, the ribbed pattern shows up more, but it’s just a nice texture. This pattern is great for men (nothing that stands out too much, but nothing plain) or women.
