Dinky Cape
We’re delighted to present the first Keep & Share garment pattern using our own recycled yarn: the Dinky Cape. A beautiful shape (based on our machine-knitted Amaranta Cape), this piece is fun to knit and lovely to wear! It is constructed from two rectangles, seamlessly joined during the knitting process, and finished with a garter stitch neck trim and yarn-covered dorset button.
In addition to the yarn, you will need long 7mm needles, a large stitch holder, a Dorset button hoop (a small plastic ring) and some contrast marker threads.
The pattern is written with detailed instructions and includes illustrations.
The Dinky Cape is also available as a full knitting kit from the Keep & Share website - www.keepandshare.co.uk - priced at £45 including UK p&p (delivery overseas is £5 per order). The kit includes the pattern, 8 balls of Offcuts Yarn, a pair of birch Brittany needles and all the other extras required, beautifully packaged in a biodegradable takeaway box.
