This is a pattern for a sweet little dinosaur cap for 3-6 months. It is a great beginner pattern as the techniques required are not too difficult and the project can be completed quite quickly.

The spikes in the pattern are three dimensional as is the tail so that the hat will keep its shape very nicely and create a great profile. Spikes will not flop over!

The hat base can also be adapted to create a basic beanie in any color you choose and can be adorned with buttons or a flower (crochet or satin) to create a completely different look. You can also try striping!
