This cutie wears his favourite dinosaur costume for trick or treating at Halloween! Not all costumes need to be scary or spooky.. other Halloween designs are sold separately.

This pattern is an easy design and uses US terminology. A knowledge of how to crochet is essential as it does not teach you how to crochet, it simply provides instructions for you to make the toy.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished item. My Dino Boy is approx. 14cm tall (5.5 inches).

You will need:

• 2.5mm hook/C-2 (US)
• 8ply yarns/DK or Light Worsted > 50gof GREEN, less than 25g of CREAM, ORANGE, YELLOW and BLACK
• WHITE embroidery thread or 4ply yarn
• A pair of 7mm safety eyes
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi is usually worked in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
