Dino Egg Socks
Playful and short, the Dino Egg Socks hug your leg just above the ankle bone. These top-down socks feature mosaic colorwork and a German short-row heel. Great for romping around the nest!
Instructions include charted and written stitch patterns as well as tips for fit and customization. This pattern has been professionally tech edited and volunteer tested. In addition to the main pattern file, this pattern also includes two file versions formatted for increased accessibility.
My patterns are available on a pay-what-you-can pricing model to enable financial accessibility while valuing the work I do as a designer. Please use the pricing option that is most accessible to you.

Sample notes:
- Yoshi Egg uses a slightly lighter weight MC compared to CC. Poison Egg uses a slightly heavier weight MC compared to CC. Both samples are knitted at the same gauge, but Poison Egg is a denser and less stretchy fabric.
- The heel construction was adjusted during testing. The photographed samples feature several rows between the short row sets, but the pattern instructs you to only work one row in between the short row sets. Your heel will look slightly different!
