Dino-RAWR Hat is an adorable beanie knitted in fingering weight, bottom-up, in the round, with no seaming. Dinosaurs are worked in stranded knitting colorwork (Fair Isle), and the crown is worked in a series of decreases.

To fit (approx.): baby (toddler, child, teen) adult small, adult medium, adult large with 0 - 2”/ 0 - 5cm of negative ease.

Finished circumference: 12 (14, 16, 18) 20, 22, 24”/ 30 (35, 40, 45) 50, 55, 60cm.

Finished height: 6.5 (6.5, 7, 7.5) 8, 8.5, 9”/ 16.5 (16.5, 18, 19) 20.5, 21.5, 23cm.

Needles: US 3/ 3.25mm, or size to obtain gauge in Stockinette stitch and Dino-RAWR pattern (you may need a larger needle for Fair Isle if you tend to knit tightly), in 16”/ 40cm - 22”/ 55cm (depending on hat size) circular and in DPNs; and US 1.5/ 2.5mm, or 2 - 3 US sizes / 0.75mm smaller than gauge needle, in 16”/ 40cm - 22”/ 55cm (depending on hat size) circular.

Gauge: 32 sts and 38 rnds = 4”/ 10cm over Stockinette stitch and Fair Isle pattern.
