Dino Stitch Sweater– Child Version
This is a crochet sweater in sizes 0-10 years, that is worked seamlessly top-down, so you can try it on as you go! It uses dk yarn, and features a special stitch, the dino stitch, which is my own invention. The stitch is much quicker than embroidering all the dinosaurs onto a plain garment. Extensive picture and video guides are provided.

Suggested hook size: 4mm

Yarn weight: dk/8-ply/light worsted/ yarn weight 3.

Suggested yarn: Sirdar stories, or any other acrylic/cotton blend. For children’s garments I suggest going for a yarn that is easy care (can be machine washed at 30 or 40 degrees C).

Also needed:
Tapestry needle, embroidery scissors for sewing in ends.

To fit chest size up to:
40/43/47/52(57/63/66)70 cm

make the size that best fits chest size rather than age! If between sizes always size up. Follow instructions for your chosen size (denoted by colour).

Gauge: 16 stitches and 13 rows of hdc worked in rows = 10 x 10 cm.
