Overlay mosaic crochet has definitely grown to be one of my favourite ways to crochet, it produces such a nice texture.

This pattern is 27 cm x 21 cm /10,5” x 8,2” with a 4mm / G hook, and 25 cm x 20 cm / 8” x 9,5” with a 3mm / D hook.

One repetition uses approximately 40 g. of yarn, or 100 metres/ 110 yards, with the outline of the dino using about half than the background color.

This pattern is part of my Karolina blanket, so while it’s a blanket pattern by definition, it is also the perfect size for a little toiletries bag with 2 repetitions and a zipper. However, the written pattern is only for the dinosaur, it is not a pouch pattern.
