This is a top-down seamless crochet beanie in all sizes, from 0-3 months to large adult. It features a special stitch, the dinosaur stitch, which is my own invention. Working this stitch is much quicker than embroidering all the dinosaurs onto a plain hat! It is a form of colourwork similar to mosaic crochet where only one colour is worked at any one time, making it easier to avoid uneven tension.

Crochet terminology: US

Suggested hook size: 3.5mm for main part, 3mm hook for ribbing.

Yarn weight: 4-ply/fingering/sport

Suggested yarn: Drops Baby Merino from Garnstudio.
Works well in any yarn as long as it is fairly light (4-ply, sport, dk) and the gauge can be met.
