I wanted to create a themed bag of toys for my littlest one so I had something I could grab on the go. I thought it would be fun to make the bag a part of the play for as he got older, so I made it a volcano and filled it with soft dinosaurs. Because everything is going in his mouth right now I wanted to make the dinosaurs from one continuous yarn instead of having little pieces that could come apart with excessive use. The result was these really cute, simplistic dinosaurs. I wasn’t surprised when he was interested and chewing on them right away. What did surprise me was how much my 5 year olds wanted a set of their own. This is a great way to use up scrap yarn. The bag is 4.5 inches across and 7 inches tall. The t-rex is 4.5 inches long and 3.5 inches tall. The brachiosaurus (My personal favorite.) is 4.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches long. The triceratops is 3 inches tall and 6 inches long.
