This pattern is perfect for beginners in mosaic crochet technique, it olny uses back loop single crochets and front loop, 2 rows below, double crochets.

Abbreviations (US terms):

CH = chain stitch
Sst = slip stitch
SC = single crochet, worked in back loop only in the previous round
DC = double crochet, worked in front loop only, into the corresponding stitch, 2 rounds below.

Materials ( approximately):

●Color A ( background color): approx. 1200gr/ 3200 meters
●Color B ( pattern color): approx. 830 gr/ 2300 meters
●Border: approx. 200m
●3.5mm crochet hook for the body of the blanket
●3mm crochet hook for the border
●Scissors
●Sewing needle( for hiding the ends)

Size
The blanket measures approx. 41” wide x 60” tall, or approx. 106cm wide x 160cm tall including the envelop border. The design is 195 stitches wide and 259 rows.

Gauge:
Gauge is crucial for this and any pattern, and by changing the weight of the yarn and the crochet hook , you will have a larger or smaller blanket. Remember, different yarns give different gauges and personal tension will make the difference as well.
