Dionaea Muscipula Cardigan
The Dionaea Muscipula Cardigan’s dramatic stacked cables grow out of ribbed trims in this sophisticated cabled cardigan, evoking both biological and architectural elements. A reverse stockinette-stitch body lets the cables pop and keeps the garment manageable; careful cable placement ensures a flattering finished object. A longer length makes this a versatile piece for both the office and the weekend. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up in pieces and seamed, and tailored shoulders anchor the fit and ease the finishing.

NOTES
- This cardigan is worked back and forth in separate pieces and seamed. The shoulders are shaped using the “English tailoring” method, which shifts the shoulder seam toward the back instead of on top of the shoulder. This means that the front armhole is longer than the back.
- A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
