Dionysus
Dionysus is named after the Greek God of Grapes and Wine. It is an elegant top that looks complicated but is actually fairly simple, with the most difficult part being a fairly straightforward lace stitch. It can be dressed up or down, looking just as fantastic with a skirt or pair of jeans.
Top down raglan shaping provides some structure to the drape of the yarn, while side ribbing provides elegant, flattering waist shaping. The neck, sleeves, and bottom hem are accented by feminine waves.
The pattern calls for Linnette, a 70/30 linen/cotton blend, but any linen or primarily linen blend with drape can be used. The pattern has written directions for the construction and stitch pattern. The garment is designed to be worn with 0-2” negative ease, and is shown with 2” negative ease.
