The Dip Dye scarf may be long but it is worked entirely in Linen Stitch, so once you get the hang of it, just keep going! This repetitive stitch pattern looks more like weaving than knitting.

MATERIALS
Yarn: Børstet Alpakka by Sandnes Garn (96% brushed alpaca, 4% nylon, 120 yds / 110 m – 50 g).
MC: 6 skeins of colourway 2024.
CC: 3 skeins of colourway 3553. Yarn is held double throughout the pattern.
If you decide to use another yarn, you will need approx. 984 yds / 900 m of bulky-weight yarn.
Needles: US 11 / 8 mm 16–32” / 40–80 cm circular or straight needles.
Notions: Crochet hook.
GAUGE
14 sts x 25 rows to 4” / 10 cm in linen stitch holding two strands of yarn together, after blocking.
CONSTRUCTION
This scarf is worked seamlessly back and forth. You start with a short edge and knit until you achieve the desired length. The scarf is finished with optional fringes.
