Dirghagama Girls Cardigan
This is a new version of the original free Dirghagama baby cardigan, size 6 months in Bulky yarn, which was made as a baby shower present for a lovely couple who study the Dīrgha Āgama. Dīrgha Āgama means ‘a long (dīrgha) discourse of Buddha (āgama)’ in Sanskrit and is a collection of 48 sūtras, or rather records of the oral teachings of the Buddha from the 8th century. So now you know!
I hope you enjoy knitting this pattern and I am looking forward to seeing your versions of it :-)
I would love to see your projects on my Facebook page or Instagram too.
