Discerning Eye is a lighter weight cowl, perfect for only a bit of warmth, but enough to be protective. It’s completely adjustable to be smaller, cozier, and even in a heavier weight if you love the knit and purl texture here. I’d had a notion this yarn would be a cowl, and it came to me on a failed scarf concept, that it’d rock in a cowl. It does, too.

357-400+ yards of fingering weight yarn (model knit in Pirates Yarrrn High Twist, in Davey Jones’ Locker, Knit Picks’ Hawthorne fingering would also work, or any fingering weight)
US 4 (3.5mm) circular needle, 24”
Scissors
Yarn Needle (for weaving in ends)

Knit in the round, Knit, Purl
