A dishcloth is always a useful thing and can be made very quickly (in 1.5 hours) with a small quantity of yarn. Also it’s a great way to study a new technique without stress, because it is a most forgiving object.

These three Dis-cloths are very simple and easy projects to learn basic knit and purl Distitch and crocheted chain DS. Simple DS selvedge produces a very neat and accurate straight edge.

For practical reasons a washable cotton yarn is the best choice for the dishcloth.
