Disk Anemone Coral
This creation was inspired by the Ontario Satellite Reef (@ontariosciencecenter) which is a part of the worldwide Crochet Coral Reef #satellitereef project by Christine and Margaret Wertheim and the Institute For Figuring. The creation was based on an underwater picture I took of a Disk Anemone when I was scuba diving in Runaway Bay, Jamaica, 10 years ago. I believe this is one of those uncommon anemone not a lot of people know about. This is a quick project that involves crocheting in rounds without joining. The project measures approximately 6” (15.5 cm) in diameter from tentacle to tentacle.
Materials & Yarn:
Caron Cake Pistachio Fudge (I separated the brown, light green and dark green to use for this project) and Bernat Super Value Yarn Winter White
