Doing it this way allows me to post two patterns a month because they are quicker to produce, are easily accessible and ready to view directly on my page. The posts can be printed if you wish. MATERIALS:
4PLY yarn (I used Scheepjes catona yarn in colours 512 – lime, 522 – primrose, 249 – saffron, 395 – willow, 387 – dark olive, 130 – old lace, 110 – jet black, 189 – royal orange and 525 – fir
2mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Fire retardant Fibrefill
Scissors
Green garden wire (or alternative)
Stitch marker (optional)

The pattern can be scaled up and down by using a different yarn weight and hook. Below is a guide of the various sizes that I have made:

Scheepjes Catona 4ply yarn with a 2mm hook: 3.5 inches long
Stylecraft Special DK yarn with a 3mm hook: 4.75 inches long
Stylecraft Special DK yarn (tripled) with a 3mm hook: 7.5 inches long
