My first Sock pattern, available both in english and german. Use any 8-ply sock yarn/sockenwolle. The socks are intentionally designed wide and comfortable with thicker yarn.

2 modification to knit this pattern with 4-ply yarn and 64 (63) stitches:**

First option with a k1, p1 Cuff:

• Cast on 64 stitches,
• knit k1, p1 in rounds for the cuff as long as you like,
• when you start to knit the stitch pattern, knit on first row ONE Time at beginning k2tog, p5, k1 and then repeat k1, p5, k1 to end of round to have 63 sitches (stitch repeat is 7; so it works with 63 stitches),
• work Heel, Gusset and Toe you like.

Second Option without a k1, p1 Cuff:

• cast on 63 Stitches,
• knit only the first row of sitch pattern as long as you like and then start to knit the 2 row of stitch pattern,
• work Heel, Gusset and Toe you like.

Maybe it will look nice to knit the cuff stitches through the back Loops - try it :-).
