Disparu is a large, lightweight shawl perfect for the transition from cool summer nights to colder autumn days. Artfully placed shortrow stripes create a zig zag design that will showcase two of your favourite colors.
Create your shawl with two solid colours or mix it up with a fun variegated. Using two variegated yarns is not recommended.

MATERIALS:
YARN: Fingering weight
The Sample Shown is made with two colors:
MC: Tosh Merino Light (100% merino wool; 420 yards, 384 meters) in Esoteric
CC: Madelinetosh Dandelion (90% sw merino, 10% fine linen; 325 yds/ 297 meters) in Asterid Grey

NEEDLES: Suggested 3.75mm (US 5) needle, 40 inch length recommended to accommodate the large number of stitches
NOTIONS: removable stitch markers, tapestry needle, blocking materials

GAUGE: Approximately 16sts x 30 rows in garter stitch per 3 inches after blocking. Gauge is not important for this pattern. Choose yarn and needles that create a fabric you like while keeping in mind that changes to yardage and measurements may occur as a result.

MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 66 inches wide and 29.5 inches deep after blocking
