I’m sure John de Lancie never thought he’d inspire a knit sock design, but here we are! This pattern is a tribute to two very similar characters he’s played on two very different television shows: Q from the Star Trek franchise and Discord from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Both characters are whimsical but powerful agents of chaos, amusing to watch but more than a little annoying to the shows’ heroes!

This sock is constructed cuff-down with a rounded toe and a strong/fleegle heel, and a whimsical bavarian-style Q design down the front.
