Knitted seamlessly in the round, but simultaneously back and forth. Both hands are the same, but they are also complete opposites. These are practical, cosy everyday mitts, elevated by the subtle loveliness of Àrd Thìr.

Gauge
18 sts and 24 rounds to 10cm / 4in over stockinette on gauge-size needle. Use 4.5mm / U.S. 7 needle as a starting point for swatching.

Pattern Notes
The mitts are knitted in the round starting with a tubular cast on at the cuff. The stitches are worked on separate circular needles for the colourblock section before being worked together on the same needle for the hand rib and tubular bind off. Colourblock rounds all begin with working the stitches on the rib needle, then an intarsia twist, followed by working the stitches on the stockinette needle.
