These socks were inspired by the Star Wars universe and the Force that flows through each living thing. The cables represent the push and pull of the Dark and the Light side of the Force, and ultimately its long sought after balance. I hope you enjoy knitting these socks and May the Force Be with You!

This pattern incudes written and charted instructions.

It is written to be knitted from the cuff down and includes 3 sizes:
Small (56 sts), Medium (64 sts) and Large (72 sts).

Yarn and notions:

Yarn: 100g Fingering weight
Sample in Smooth Sock Fingering, by Alley Cat Yarns
Colourway: OOAK
Alley Cat Yarns website: https://alleycatyarns.ca/collections/smooth-sock

Needles: 2.5 mm needles (see note below) with a long cable for magic loop (or use your preferred needles such as 9 in circulars or dpns).
This pattern features cables which tend to make knits a little tighter. I went up a needle size to 2.5mm for that reason. If you are a naturally tight knitter, you may wish to go up to 2.75 mm.

Other notions: cable needle, stitch markers, scissors, darning needle

Gauge: 8 sts = 1 inch in stockinette

Nota Bene:

Special instructions for shortie socks are in blue at the end of the written instructions.

Other options for a different cuff and alternate heel flap are in purple throughout the main instructions.
