Diva’s big Cape is the the bigger sister of the Diva’s mini Cape ;o)
as the mini one is great to wear on slightly colder day, or for Office or a dinner out, I really liked to have the same style just bigger for the reall cold days to snuggle in.

So I decided here to work in solid colours with a Little stripe Accent instead of a Gradient yarn.

I used for the Body of the Shawl 200g of “die Vielfältige” in Denim and for the stripes and lace border 100g of “die Vielfältige” in Bernstein, both are from faerbstoff.ch. Its a fingering weight yarn, 100g/300m and I used it all ;o)

the gauge is messured after blocking slightly.

I really enjoyed knitting this cape as with the ribbing and the short rows it turned out to be a very mediative and Relaxing knit. And as the lace border is worked side to side, Fixing it to the Body while you knit it, you just have to bind off 22 stitches at the end.

Das Diva’s big Cape ist die grosse Schwester vom Mini Cape ;o)
Das Mini Cape ist toll für kühlere Tage, zum Beispiel über eine Bluse getragen für ins Büro oder ein schönes Dinner auswärts. Doch wollte ich gerne noch ein Cape für die richtig kalten Tage, wo ich mich so richtig reinkuscheln kann.

So habe ich mich entschieden, es in gross zu machen und mit Unifarben zu arbeiten anstelle von einem Verlaufsgarn.

Ich habe mich für die Vielfältige von Faerbstoff.ch 200g Denim und für die Streifen und die Spitzenbordüre 100g Bernstein entschieden. Es ist eine Fingering weight Wolle, 100g/300m und ich habe alles aufgebraucht.

Die Maschenprobe ist gemessen nach leichten Spannen.

Ich habe das Stricken des Capes sehr genossen, mit dem Rippenmuster und den verkürzten Reihen wurde so richtig meditativ und entspannend. Und da die Spitzenbordüre von einer zur anderen Seite gearbeitet wurde und so am Cape fixiert wurde, gab es am Schluss nur noch 22 Maschen zum abketten.
