Dive In
Choose a few colors and dive right in to knitting the Dive In blanket.
Designed with three main colors and one contrast, once you get the idea of the pattern, any number of colors could be used, making this a great use for stash yarns or one skein collections. To help you in choosing color palettes, there is a blank schematic where you can test out options and make a paper prototype of your blanket.
Ideal for beginning knitters, or those hoping to get a little practice with simple short rows, this blanket takes simple garter stitch stripes and adds short rows to create stacked triangle wedges, for a new and different take on stripes.
The pattern features three sizes, the smallest perfect for carseats or strollers, medium for cribs or sending off to preschool, and the largest for a picnic or living room throw.
