Divers
These brave little divers are ready for underwater adventures.
Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns. Most pieces are worked flat (back and forth) on single pointed knitting needles, not in the round. The scuba diver’s air tube is an i-cord piece worked on two DPNs. The crochet hook is used to add an edging to the diving goggles, and to crochet single chains to decorate the diving helmet.
NEEDLES
A pair each of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles and DPNs (US 4)
RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour
NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, 3.5mm crochet hook, and toy filling.
SIZES
One size only - Each diver is 13.5cm tall.
