Dixon's Machine
When I was thinking of the pattern name, I asked my husband what does this project looks like?
He answered it immediately that it looks like “Dixon’s Machine”. (Scott Ronald Dixon is a professional racing driver from New Zealand. For more details, please search 2020 Indy 500)
The pattern Dixon’s Machine is a simple two color pattern which consists of brk, sl1yo (brioche stitches) slip stitches, cable stitches. I re-arranged some cable stitches to created a different effect that I wanted.

Yarn Col B Blue: NEVELINE Silke By Arvier Color 638 50g 150m 60% Mohair 40% Acrylic
Estimated Finished Size: 48cm circumference x 22.5cm height (without blocking)
Estimated Yarn Consumption: Col A 20g / Col B 15g with label
Needles and Others: 4.5mm x 40cm circular / 4.5mm x 17cm double pointed knitting needles / a cable needle
Size: One size only. I usually knit loosely. If you knit tightly, you can use needles of a larger size. Besides, as the number of pattern repeats may not be changed easily, I suggest using needles of a smaller or larger size for minor size adjustments.
I knit for cancer patients, elderlies and animals, and all Hat Patterns are designed for charity. Your purchase means your support to me. If you are a charity knitter, just leave a comment and I will send the pattern as a gift and my support to you. Thank you!
The Dixon’s Machine Pattern is the 35th pattern of “Memory 50”.
”Memory 50” is a special project to myself, for myself - to publish 50 patterns before Mid-September 2020.
I know it sounds crazy, but I’ll give it my best shot.
