DIY DYE Cozy
Time is so ahead of me these days with Jaida growing older and gaining more understanding of the world around her. We are getting more attached to each other and I find it a little harder to focus on my work as I barely find any time for myself these days. Teething, curiosity to discovering new places, and the never ending loop of being a fussy eater are the highlights of the current phase. And I love every bit of it!
So, I managed to finish the above couple of jar and glass bottle cozies, and they all follow the same pattern. I bought the glass bottles from Ikea, and the glass jars are common jam jars, this one is Bonne Maman’s.
I played a little with colour this time, experimenting with fabric paint. So I crocheted the cozies with white thread as above, then dipped them in paint. I was hoping that I would get more or less a shaded sequence of the colour I used, instead, the colour kept rising up till it filled almost all of my cozy. Although this wasn’t the outcome I was imagining, I still liked the end result.
Okay, let’s have a look below at the crochet pattern of the cozy and flowers.
