DIY Hat Display
I find one of the more difficult aspects of designing my own patterns is how to display the finished work for photos. And let’s face it… No one wants to purchase a pattern without a good photo. And I know, for myself, if it is an article of clothing or accessory, I want to see it being worn. I want to see how it fits and lays before I commit myself to the hours spent making it.
Displays can be expensive. If you don’t have one, what are your options:
Take a ‘selfie, or wait for your kids or husband to come home and try to bribe them? That doesn’t always happen.
So make your own!
One skein of inexpensive yarn, some fluff, a pencil and a bit of plastic or cardboard…
And you have your own!
Dimensions
Base across 5.5 in
Height 11.5 in
Head circumference 21.5 in
But because it is full of fluff it can be easily molded to fit child size with out over stretching.
