Dizen Sweater
Sumptuous cables intertwine in intricate patterns throughout the Dizen Sweater. The resultant fabric staves off the bitter cold of winter with its dense structure while still being lightweight—the perfect combination for a timeless coolweather sweater. It is worked from the bottom up in pieces and seamed; the sleeves are worked from the shoulder to the cuff.

Finished Size 28 3/4 (33, 38 1/4, 42 1/2, 47 1/2, 52, 57, 61 1/2, 66 1/2)“ circumference at underarm. Pullover shown measures 42 1/2”; modeled with 8 1/2” of positive ease.
Yarn Brown Sheep Company Prairie Spun DK (100% wool; 256 yd 234 m/31/2 oz 100 g): DK75 Dancing Leaf, 4 (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) skeins.
Needles Sizes 4 (3.5 mm) and 6 (4 mm): straight. Size 4 (3.5mm): 16” circular (circ). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Markers (m); removable m; cable needle (cn); stitch holders; tapestry needle.
Gauge 22 sts and 32 rows = 4” in St st on larger needles; 27 sts and 32 rows = 4” over Chart C pattern on larger needles.

• This pullover is worked back and forth in pieces from the bottom and seamed. The sleeves are picked up around the armholes and worked toward the cuff. The sleeve caps are shaped with German short-rows.
