This is a quick DK sock pattern ideal for last minute gift giving. The technique, although crochet, is very similar to a cuff-down method of a knitted sock, with a heel flap which is then ‘turned’. I have provided photos to help with this process, and to also show the placement of the front post treble crochets which are used to construct the twisted rib of the cuff. The finished product is a very comfy house sock / slipper sock. I would recommend a merino / nylon yarn for maximum comfort and breathability, in a plain-ish yarn as a heavily patterned yarn will hide the texture detail.
