DK Daisy Chain Mitts is a reversible design, knitted sideways with two seams (grafts). It is worked in marled garter stitch with two strands of different colour yarn held together. The double knit motif is worked in stockinette with yarns separated for front and back.

YARN
Two single ply or lightly twisted 2-ply fingering yarns in contrasting colours.

Colour A 150 yds (136m) / 35g, Benedik and Arolilja
Singles - Merino/Silk/Yak by Norne Yarn
(65% Merino, 20% Silk, 15% Yak; 525yds (480m) /120g)

Colour B 136 yds (125m) / 35g, Light Khaki
Singles Sock by Maruma Yarns
(100% Merino; 400yds (366m) / 100g)

For a pair of fingerless mitts you will need about 30-40g of each colour.
For a pair of fingerless mitts and beanie you will need about 85g of each colour.

TOOLS AND NOTIONS
➰ pair US 1.5/2.5mm 32in/80cm circular needles
➰ pair US 1.5/2.5mm DPNs
➰ blunt tapestry needle
➰ four stitch markers
➰ waste yarn in DK weight and a contrasting colour

GAUGE

26 sts x 47 rows (23.5 ridges) in 4 in (10 cm) in garter stitch / DK pattern

1 flower (6 sts x 6 ridges) = 0.9 x 1.4 in (2.3 x 3 cm)

MITT MEASUREMENTS

Mitt circumference: 6.0 (6.7, 7.4) in / 15.5 (17, 19) cm

Mitt length: 7.0(7.0, 7.4) in / 18 (18, 19) cm

The finished mitt circumference should be about 0.5 in (1 cm) smaller than your hand circumference.

SKILL LEVEL
This is a quick project, worked entirely in garter stitch, with some advanced knitting techniques, such as double knitting, short rows, and grafting. All techniques are demonstrated in my video tutorials and should be easy to follow, but some may require extra practice.
