DK Kinsol
DK Kinsol is a boxy, cropped cardi (bolero style) featuring lace, Garter Stitch and sculpted shoulder shaping.
For a correct fit, it is important that the shoulder shaping fits the shoulder and the cropped length drapes with east to mid-waist.
Length may be easily customized to the next size up or to the L/XL row count. Also, the back of the DK Kinsol design has the lace stitch pattern bottom to top; however, the back can be modified to include stockinette stitch, alike to that of Front Left /Right. Instructions are included.
The DK Kinsol is a versatile design that offers a generous amount of ease for different bust and waist shaping. It’s the perfect little garment for layering and accessorizing as it offers a touch of warmth and designer flair! Wear the DK Kinsol like a cardi/bolero or vest, with folded-over collar, open or casually overlapped at front with a tunic or dress.
The DK Kinsol design was inspired by the architectural design of the historic Kinsol Trestle Bridge; a unique wooden bridge on the decommissioned CNR Cowichan line that crosses the Koksilah River. The Kinsol Trestle is one of the tallest free-standing timber rail trestle structures in the world; and is a must see if/when exploring the Trans Canada Trail, the Cowichan Valley and Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada!
