This is not a beginner pattern and needs knowledge of both knitting and crochet as it combines the two. The body is knitted and it has a crochet lace trim.

It is worked from the neck down and a long circular needle is used, but knitted as if using 2 needles.

It makes the increases for the raglan easier to see. It is also easier to carry a second colour across the back of the shaping without puckering. However, 2 needles can be used if you prefer.

Yarn requirements are approximate as it can be made to fit any length, from underthe bust to waist length.
