DK Salmonberry is a circular lace capelet shaped shawl that is knit top down, first knit in the round, then knit flat. The shape is formed by gradually increasing needle size to “open” the lace.

Yarn consideration: the main colour purple (C1) in the DK Salmonberry requires the full skein of Malabrigo Arroyo 335 yards (306 meters).

The DK Salmonberry design showcases well in handspun sport and DK weights (handspun sport weight merino was utilized for the green/blue component in the sample knit above).
