Dna is a round yoke sweater worked from the top down with the possibility to adjust the length of the sleeves and the body. The work starts a few rounds of ribs stitches at the neck. After finishing the neck ribbing some short-rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the round-yoke is worked top down with lace pattern band to sleeve separation. The sleeves are separated on waste yarn, and the body is worked from the armholes to hem until the desired lenght. Work the sleeves one at a time by putting the stitches back from waste yarn and pick-up and knit the stitches previously cast on during the separation of the body. Work in round to the length desired, making the decreases after the cuff.

Dna è un maglione a scollo rotondo lavorato dall’alto verso il basso (top down), con la possibilità di adattare la lunghezza sia delle maniche, sia del corpo durante la lavorazione. Il maglione inizia dal collo con alcuni giri di coste ritorte. Dopo il bordo a coste, si lavorano alcuni ferri accorciati per creare una scollatura più profonda, quindi si continua con gli aumenti e la lavorazione a pizzo sempre in circolare fino alla separazione delle maniche. Le maniche vengono quindi messe in sospeso su un filo di scarto o cavo aggiuntivo e il corpo viene lavorato dalle ascelle al bordo inferiore fino alla misura desiderata. Le maniche sono lavorate una alla volta spostando le maglie messe in sospeso sui ferri e riprendendo quelle precedentemente messe a nuovo durante la separazione dal corpo. Si procede in circolare fino alla lunghezza desiderata, eseguendo delle diminuzioni prima del bordo finale.
