Materials Needed: 400 yards of a fingering weight yarn, US size 1 (2.25 mm) needles, stitch markers, cable needle (optional but recommended).

Textured sock pattern featuring a chain mail pattern down the front of the leg, a leafy panel down the back of the leg, and a gusset on the top of the foot; based on Lee Pace’s character Thranduil in Peter Jackson’s Hobbit Movies.

Pattern is mostly written with a chart to help with the gusset decreases.

Written to fit a US 7 women’s foot, but can easily be modded to fit other sizes by adding stitches to the chain mail section of the leg, or swapping yarn and/or needles.
