“Do-sa-do” is a standard square dancing call. To execute this instruction, two dancers circle around each other without changing the direction they are facing. The call is derived from the French words for “back to back.”

In these fingerless mitts, the central cable dances around each of the two side cables in turn. The name is also a play on words referring to Malabrigo Dos, one of my favorite yarns.

The pattern is written to fit snugly on an average size hand, with two length options. Check your gauge for the best fit. For larger hands or a more generous fit, try going up one needle size.

Pattern includes both charted and written instructions.
