The Do the Math Dress is a pattern with two sections: a regular knitting pattern with sizes and specific instructions for yarns meeting gauge and a section where you can pick any measurements, any yarn gauge and with a little math, can create your own pattern! This dress is knit from the top down by knitting the back panel first, picking up stitches to make the front panels and joining them together after shaping the neckline. The tapered sleeves are then picked up and knit in the round and the rest of the dress is knit with circular needles until the desired length.
