Level 2-Advanced (angle stitches)

Written for Mosaic Overlay Crochet, this pattern includes:

Size: 32”x 48”
(160 stitches x 237 rows)
Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.
This calculation was based on weight 3 DK yarn and hook size of 3.75mm. Gauge: 5 stitched and 5 rows=1 inch

Yarn: This pattern is written for 2 contrasting colors. (My pattern testers used 3 colors and the tapestry color changing technique. I have included links to video tutorials on tapestry color changing - but you would have to color plan this yourself using the charts as a template if you wish to use more than 2 colors.)

Color A (Dark/design/paw prints/shadows/outline) – 1080 yds
Color B (Light color/background/dog fur) –1747 yds
2” Double Border –642 yds
Note: I recommend keeping Color A your dark color and Color B your light color due to the use of the shadows in this design.

This pattern is divided into 6 sections (4 pages each) and is worked from the bottom up. I would suggest using the Knit Companion app (my personal preference as it is brilliant and saves on printer ink and paper), but I have also included layout instructions for the charts if you prefer to print out your pages. The written pattern sections correlate with the charts so they can be used together.
