MY DESIGN IDEAS AND ADVICE
This pattern is one of eight pattern that I designed to launch especially at Yarndale 2017 (held annually in Skipton, North Yorkshire) with the Knoll Mohair Tweed DK which was also just launched that year. The yarn is spun in Donegal so I named all the patterns using Irish words, Dóchas (pronounced DOE-hass) is the Irish word for hope.
This scarf is garter stitch with a little tiny detail at the edge to make it special. It is knitted “straight up” yet the way the stitches are increasing and decreasing it gives it a triangle shape. So much fun!
