Where there is water, there is wind. Dockside is a shawl that is representative of both. This wedge-shaped shawl embodies gentle waves washing along shore. The fabric – warm, yet airy and lightweight – creates a barrier against the breeze. We recommend draping this shawl over your shoulders as you rest on the dockside – dipping your toes in the water and enjoying a good book.

This shawl is knit in one piece, in five wedges. Each wedge is shaped with short rows. The border is worked in contrast color only. When changing colors between the border and main shawl body, use the intarsia method. Bring the new color up and around the old color to prevent holes forming in the work.
