Doctor Who Inspired Weeping Angel
The Weeping Angels of Doctor Who are one of the most memorable villains of the popular BBC television series. This cute weeping angel is made in 7 pieces: 2 legs, 2 arms, 2 wings, and hair. This doll is made as a spiral—do not join rounds. A stitch marker placed at either the beginning or the end of the round can help keep track of round in the spiral. Stitch counts are given in brackets () at the end of most rows. Instructions for each stitch is given at the end of the pattern.
Stuff as you go (polyester filling, cotton, yarn scraps, etc.). Finish the piece by sewing together the parts and embroidering the eyes using a darning needle. A 1.5 inch diameter or smaller rattle insert can be added to head.
