You will need two skeins/400 yds of each color.

Gauge is not important. My version ended up at 6” wide by 7’ 2” long. Alter the needle & yarn size to change the final size.

While this is designed as a double knit pattern, it could also be used as a two-color single sided scarf. In that case, the uncolored squares would always be your main color, and the colored squares would always be in your contrast color.
