This pattern was originally created in the midst of the Covid19 pandemic for my nephew, a medical student who works as a volunteer at one of the Covid19 Units in Prague.
I decided to publish it as a free pattern as my contribution to the knitting community. Many of us may want to say “Thank you” to the healthcare stuff fighting hard to conquer the virus that paralysed the planet in 2020. Perhaps a pair of socks with the staff of Asclepius is a nice gesture to show our appreciation.

The pattern has not been tested by others and does NOT include detailed sizing and heel/toe instructions. It assumes the knitter already knows these techniques.

The main goal is to provide you with the colour-work chart which you can eqsily adjust in width.

I did not make a note of the gauge as it was originally not meant to become a published pattern. You will need to make a swatch to determine the amount of stitches needed for your size.
