Dodge Yoga Socks
I live in a tiny mining village affectionately known as “Dodge” to the locals. The community is an interesting mix of folk… all of whom enjoy the forests and lakes that surround our little mountain village and these socks are a tribute to the special blend of community and lifestyle found here.
Living on the West Coast of Canada, extra layers of cozy is always welcomed once fall hits, especially when adventuring outside into the woods. I was interested in a yoga sock that I could wear around the house in layer, by the wood stove, off to yoga but also with my other socks for warmth without causing too much bulk in my shoes. I always had wanted to take advantage of Noro Silk Garden Sock Yarn, with it’s gorgeous colourway, texture and fibre blend, and these yoga socks show them off beautifully.
Sizes and Finished Measurements:
Currently only standard woman’s US size sock (sz 5 – 9) is offered with a S/M calf circumference.
While this is a ‘one size’ sock, customization is very easy, simply increase or decrease the number of stitches cast on to match the circumference of your recipients foot, with half the stitches being the “top” and the other half representing the “bottom” of your foot. When you come to casting on at the bottom of the ankle to work up the calf, cast on as many stitches as desired to suit the width desired (with the total number of stitches being divisible by 4)
