Our little dogs, Santiago and Federico, are not allowed upstairs (Oli’s allergic to cats and other stuff, so we try to minimize shedding where she sleeps), but I’ve always thought it’d be amazingly comforting to have one of them sleep on my feet in the winter. There’s no way my husband would let them on our bed though! So I made these for the end of the girls’ beds—it will NOT be the same at all, but at least their feet will be extra warm. Plus, Marti pointed out that they’ll also be great to have in her lap while she’s reading on the couch.
